Europe Is Open For Travel

Plaza Espana in Seville, Spain

Spain will open its doors to vaccinated Americans starting June 7, 2021. No period of quarantine will be necessary after arrival.

According to the Tourist Office of Spain, U.S. citizens will be eligible to visit the country if they have had a second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine, or a single dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, at least 14 days before their arrival. Proof of vaccination must be shown in the form of a vaccination card or certificate of vaccination.

Un-vaccinated minors in the same family will also be permitted entry. Children ages 6 to 17 must show proof of a negative Covid-19 test performed “at least 72 hours prior to arrival.” Those under 6 do not need to provide a negative test result.

Before departure, travelers are required to fill out a health questionnaire, which can be found online.

Greece, Croatia, Italy and Iceland are already open to U.S. leisure travelers.
