Jordan Biking Tour

Jordan Biking

Activity Level: Moderate
Start / Finish: Amman / Aqaba

Keys to the Kingdom

It’s not just because The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan boasts some of the most important Christian sites in the world that you feel like you’re in a Discovery Channel special when you travel here. It’s the soaring mountains, colourful souks, the Roman ruins and vast expanses of desert. It’s floating in the Dead Sea, and reliving Ben-Hur (at least in your head) in an ancient hippodrome.

It’s just a bonus that Jordanites are some of the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever encountered. Because when you’re wandering across the Wadi Rum on your camel, watching the sun set over the dunes en route to your Bedouin camp, it doesn’t really matter that this is one of the most democratic and progressive pockets in the region.
