Itinerary Description:

For those that love golf this is possibly the trip of lifetime. Begin in Gleneagles, enjoying an exclusive tasting of Johnnie Walker Blue Label and a round on the PGA Centenary course. This course was created by the legendary Jack Nicklaus and is the host venue of the 2014 Ryder Cup.

Next it’s on to the “home of golf” at St. Andrews, and a stay at the Old Course Hotel, which borders the renowned 17th Road Hole of the Old Course. You are welcomed with a tour of the British Golf Museum and a private walking tour of the entire Old Course, founded in 1895. Play rounds at the Old Course, New Course, and Kingsbarns over your three days in this storied location.

End your trip in Edinburgh, playing nine holes at Kingarrock with hickory clubs, and staying within view of Edinburgh Castle at the glorious Balmoral Hotel. Toast your journey with dinner and a whiskey tasting at a private whiskey club.

For those in your party who may wish to remain off the links there is plenty of opportunity for day trips to sites around the countryside, as well as spa services found at each destination. St. Andrews is convenient to the West Sands Beach, where a variety of watersports and marine activities are possible, as well as many other local attractions like the Knockhill motor racing park.

Please note: We encourage only low handicappers on this journey. Golf club rental is not included. As with most courses in Scotland the use of carts is not common, and in some cases not available. Caddies are an option at additional cost.
