Lincoln Memorial
This memorial building with the seated statue of
Abraham Lincoln, most famous for his tenure during the Civil War and Emancipation Act, sits at the west end of the National Mall.
The Capitol Building
Seat of the Federal government housing the Senate and Congress. Tours are available.
